About this piece
Gold micro-plated back chain with hook clasp, 22 cm: a ready-made extension chain for necklaces and jewellery making. The chain is made of small round ring links joined by short bar links, with a jump ring at each end. In the middle of its length a small slim hook, made of two thin parallel wires with a tiny ball at its tip, catches a ring on the other half to join the two halves. Attach it behind a necklace to lengthen it or to make the fit adjustable, or use it as the back chain in handmade pieces.
